Past the Gate Talent Agency began with a dream, not a business plan.

Like many artists, our founder started as a theater kid with big dreams and a deep love for performing. Life eventually pulled her in other directions until one moment reignited everything. When her youngest said, “I want to be famous,” the journey into the industry truly began.

Together, they learned the business from the inside out... auditions, training, callbacks, rejections, and the reality of set life. That firsthand experience led to hands-on work at a respected talent agency as both a commercial and theatrical agent, where one thing became clear:

The industry doesn’t lack talent. It lacks guidance, education, and real advocacy for emerging actors.

Past the Gate was built to provide exactly that.
